N23-ATTAC soil and roadbed material test construction

With the cooperation of the participating organization, the National TOHS Technology Research Association , we mixed soil with a granulating agent to change the soil into an aggregate structure, and constructed the N23-ATTAC soil and roadbed material (permeable water-retentive construction method), which improves permeability and water retention. Because it improves permeability and water retention, it is expected to be effective in river basin flood control and groundwater recharge by being introduced in various places.

This time, in order to investigate the differences with normal soil, N23-ATTAC soil/subbase material is laid on the right side of the photo , and normal sand soil is laid on the left side.



The left side of the picture below is normal granular sand. This has been processed to become the N23-ATTAC soil on the right. As you can see from the picture, the N23-ATTAC soil is granulated and has formed into aggregates.
