Bottom-up integrated planning and environmental restoration
This is a research project to integrate CBFM technology with environmental restoration and sustainable society planning in order to achieve Target 2, "a rich environment and a bountiful life." This project consists of the analysis of basic information on spatial information, local resources, biodiversity, disaster risk, runoff control, etc., and the development of a database; the study and introduction of CBFM technology to enhance biodiversity; environmental restoration methods such as environmental improvement in the downstream section of dams; and research on integrated bottom-up planning of tributaries and the overall plan. The ultimate goal is to establish bottom-up planning methods, create guidelines, and achieve environmental restoration.
